      Verdict

      Final Verse comes out best on official ratings but isn't running well and is overlooked. Cobo Bay scored at Wolverhampton in November but has run four times here in the past and been well beaten on each occasion. Opus Maximus has won eight times in his career, seven of them on turf, and he doesn't have a particularly good record on Polytrack so this may go to ERINJAY. Michael Wigham's charge has had just five career starts and completed a double over today's C&D a year ago. He hasn't been seen since well beaten at Ascot in April but a long absence is rarely a problem for one from this yard.
