    Verdict

Anycity’s recent success at Wolverhampton came in plating company but he faces tougher opposition today in the shape of REETH. The latter has been raised 7lb having returned a clear winner over course and distance but John Gosden’s colt beat third-placed Redemptive over four lengths and is taken to confirm running despite the worse terms. Teresita Alvarez doesn’t look particularly well-treated on a couple of placed efforts over 7f in handicaps at Wolverhampton but is worth another try at today’s longer trip on that evidence.
