Sonnet Rose has a 6lb penalty for winning in a lesser grade at Chelmsford but still has claims in a race like this. However, we might take a chance on top weight CURIOUS FOX as Anthony Carson’s filly is a dual course winner and has dropped a further 2lb since a better effort at Chelmsford last month meaning she’s now 9lb lower than when scoring on Turf last summer. Kodicat has travelled down from North Yorkshire and her yard in good form – she’ll be all the better for a run at Chelmsford. Masquerade Bling is race-fit but Tallulah's Quest may need this and Stosur seems best in small fields.
