Balayage was still beaten over four lengths when runner-up over track and trip last time while Lucy The Painter was beaten only a head in heavy ground at Newbury recently with DUFFEL well behind. But the latter had scored at Wolverhampton before that and back on a faster surface today, Luca Cumani's colt is fancied to reverse running and go close. Black Truffle and Water Dancer are recent winners over 7f and Prefect has been running over the same distance without success. The returning Foie Gras is not out of this on his placed efforts earlier in the year.
