Verdict
CAST OF STARS by-passed the handicap earlier on the card to contest this maiden and the move can pay dividends. Ralph Beckett's Nayef gelding is the highest rated of these and his lack of acceleration may not be as much of a hindrance against this field. Fascination was placed in four of her six starts on turf but is another that appears to lack an extra gear, while Moonbalej is going backwards if his efforts over hurdles recently are a reliable guide. Wade Farm Billy is a winner over timber, however, and can't be discounted on his Polytrack debut.
