        Verdict

        Ayr Harbour’s debut effort petered out in the closing stages over 7f at Lingfield and this shorter trip should suit. Al Dawodiya is another dropping down in distance having been caught at the line over 7f at Chelmsford but a chance is taken on SOUND MIXER. The latter finished only a neck behind a subsequent winner when fourth over the minimum trip at Newcastle and this extra furlong will suit on that evidence. The Haggas filly is preferred to stablemate Sena though Never Dark is speedily-bred as a half-brother to a couple of winning sprinters out of a Wokingham winner and is a newcomer to note.
