In depth

Verdict

Surety drops down a couple of grades on the back of a three-length defeat at Newmarket. Venturous Spirit steps back up to a mile having failed to figure over 7f last time and the same comment applies to course and distance winner Si Senor. Chess Valley failed to beat lower rated opposition in a seller at Leicester recently, so the vote goes to INSPECTOR NORSE to continue his good progress having scored at Epsom last month on his handicap debut.
