        Verdict

        ACOLYTE ran out of steam in the closing stages over 7f at Newbury on his debut. But he finished third to subsequent Listed winner Elm Park so the form looks solid enough and he gets the nod. Haarib and Tangramm are harder to fancy and one of the newcomers may prove a bigger danger. Al will probably be better for the outing but Capsize and Frognal Bear are both worth a second glance along with Kill Or Cure, who is related to host of winners.
