In depth

Verdict

Pretty Bubbles landed a double over track and trip at the end of last year and has run well enough off higher marks since to suggest she can figure in this. True Pleasure is now 9lb higher than when scoring at Carlisle back in August but Compton Bird should go well again after scoring over course and distance three weeks ago. PRINCESS ICICLE was having her first start since July when going close at Lingfield last month. Jo Crowley's mare looks capable of winning off her current mark and gets the nod. Neither Lady Sylvia nor Fiducia threatened the in-form Club House last time but both have an easier task today.
