Verdict

The unreliable Bookmaker threw in a bad one last time but is perfectly capable of figuring on his day. Veteran Palace Moon won for the first time since 2012, with Whaleweigh Station behind, at Lingfield last month while Foie Gras has every chance but could have been better drawn. Cookie Ring has been winning over 7f this year though he stays today's distance and Gavarnie Encore won over track and trip earlier, though failed to cope with a 6lb rise last time. ROXIE LOT has won over a mile at Chelmsford and, with winning partner Rob Hornby back on board for her reappearance, Pam Sly's filly gets a speculative vote in something of a lottery.
