        Verdict

        Another highly competitive affair to end a tough card. CRYSTAL LAKE won a maiden race here and then took the step up in class in her stride to land a handicap at Ripon last month. She can go in again but dangers abound. Best Kept and Kafeel signed off last season with wins on the Polytrack while previous winners Billingsgate, Royal Preserve and Black Caesar should all have come on for recent outings. Dancealot has the past form to figure if back to her best and Adore may do better this season.
