Verdict
Depose posted a much better effort when going close over 6f here last time with a disappointing Spinacia behind. But PENPAL was making her racecourse debut when third over track and trip and finishing well clear of the rest so it’s James Fanshawe’s filly that gets the vote. Aswaat is related to four winners and preferred by Jim Crowley to Widaad while Majestic Endeavour, Dawning and Elmetto are other newcomers worth a second glance.
