In depth

Verdict

Plenty of runners but nothing makes strong appeal. The only last-time scorer in the line-up is Imperial Elysian who stuck on well to land a similar contest at Huntingdon a fortnight ago and connections will presumably be satisfied with a 4lb rise for the win. He should be there or thereabouts. Eva's Diva is consistent but finds winning hard and Kauto The King is still searching for form after his return from a break. Airton was beaten in a seller latest so it might be worth looking closely at the Henderson pair. Royal Ruby looks in the hands of the assessor and EL KALDOUN was extremely disappointing last time at Market Rasen. However, that was surely too bad to be true and a return to the level of his previous run when a solid second at Doncaster in December would see him go well.
