        Verdict

        Sparkle was placed in this grade at Lingfield last time while Elegantly Bound finished ahead of Things Happen and Heaven's Rock when runner-up over 6f at Wolverhampton. Sadhbh won a maiden race at Chelmsford recently and goes handicapping for the first time along with Widnes and Pobbles, who have both shown enough in maidens to suggest they can figure. But PORTLEDGE drops in class after a handicap debut in Class 3 company at Doncaster and James Bethell’s colt could go well at a price at this level.
