      Verdict

      AMBER ISLAND faced a much tougher task in Class 2 company at Lingfield last time. David Loughnane’s mare will be more at home at this level having won off today’s mark in December when beating Unique Cut. The latter has subsequently finished behind Arenas Del Tiempo over 1m2f at Lingfield and Simon Dow’s charge drops down in both class and trip but both Global Acclaim and Universal Effect have more to find in this grade.
