Verdict

Notre Ami found the company too hot at Sandown last month after winning a small race at that track earlier. DESTRIER looks a chaser in the making and has to carry 14lb extra but was far from disgraced in the Grade 2 Dovecote here last time having won at Leicester and Wetherby earlier. He may well be good enough to give the weight away, though Nelson's Touch had decent bumper form and got off the mark over hurdles in a maiden at Taunton last month. Gothic Empire won twice over 7f on the Flat but tended to struggle when tried over further so stamina may be an issue, even around here.
