    Verdict

Magic Warrior gets the nod over Jomus, while Redeye Special and Brave Dane are others to monitor in the betting market. Brave Dane is a versatile character having won under both codes of racing. He handles most types of ground and, as a previous winner on the polytrack at Lingfield, he is respected from his current mark of just 60 - a mark 8lb lower than his best winning rating. Watch the market carefully where he is concerned. Redeye Special has held her form well and has been a credit to her connections. She has to be a player in this company but there is the suspicion that she will find at least one has her measure on these terms. Which we think may well be Magic Warrior, whose steady improvement has been pleasing to watch this season. The mount of Pat Dobbs has all the ticks in the right boxes and is fancied to give us the best run for the money today.
