        Verdict

        A 6lb penalty can prove no barrier to further success for TRUE TO FORM, who is taken to follow-up his Lingfield win. Sir Mark Prescott's gelding steps up to a mile for the first time, having recorded an easy success at the Surrey track. Pedigree suggests that this should bring about further improvement and we will look no further. Osgood should be a leading player, having dropped to a handy mark. If he handles the surface first time up then he could make it a stiff test. Yorksters Prince gets further than this and will also appreciate a gallop, but a better bet looks to be Abhar. John Best's gelding ran well over course and distance last time and from 2lbs higher he is a danger. Al Jaadl has frame claims as one proven over this trip and on the surface, but clear preference is for True To Form.
