Verdict

Brilliant Vanguard is upped a further 5lb after completing a double at Ripon but Commodity has struggled since winning his first three starts of the year and Chiefofchiefs’ progressive form came to an end last month. Ventura Blues makes a quick reappearance after scoring here just three days ago while Timeless Art won a qualifying event for this final when beating Golden Wedding with The Warrior, Mazyoun, Presumido and GEORGIAN BAY behind. But the latter won this in 2015 and was runner-up off a higher mark last year. Karl Burke’s charge can make another bold bid in an open renewal.
