In depth
Verdict
Maraakiz overcame inexperience to make a winning start at Chelmsford. He looks a nice prospect but the eye is drawn to newcomer DUTY OF CARE. By Kingman, he is a half-brother to the stable’s Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Expert Eye and connections will likely have high hopes for him as a three-year-old. Abrag is a half-brother to a winning sprinter but this trip shouldn’t be a problem on breeding. Medway and Papas Dream look best of the rest.
