Boppys Pride can make the most of the weight that he receives from Street Life and Maximix, with Hallings Overture and Maximix also worth a mention. There appear to be plenty in with chances in this wide-open looking handicap, but the consistent Boppys Pride is taken to come out on top on just his second visit to Kempton. His first attempt here in November was also his initial try over 12 furlongs, and he put in an excellent effort to finish runner-up to Escoffier. Sent off as favourite at Wolverhampton on the strength of that performance, but just failed to quicken when it mattered and had to settle for third place, but off what appears to be a fair mark, he has leading claims of putting matters right. Street Life has not been seen much over the past two years but scored on Wolverhampton's Polytrack last time so handles this type of surface and is not that badly handicapped at present. Maximix has had two outings over timber since winning at Lingfield in October, so should not lack for fitness, while Hallings Overture and Emilion can both boast visits to the winner's enclosure last time but have a bit more to do. Boppys Pride is the pick.
