In depth

Verdict

A huge field considering the modest prize money on offer. Lee Side Lady is a consistent sort and Whatthebutlersaw and Viking Mistress make some appeal from near the foot of the weights. At the other end of the handicap, Reilly's Minor would have to be considered and this is the type of race in which Heath Hunter is likely to pop up. Bulfin Island returned from a lay-off with a fair fourth at Plumpton but ONE OF US and Visandi are other lightly-raced types with scope. The latter was a shade disappointing on his handicap debut so we’ll give a tentative vote to the former who has Lizzie Kelly’s claim in his favour and is likely to appreciate this slightly longer trip.
