Verdict
Newcomers Abi Scarlet and Cats Eyes are both related to all-weather winners and worth noting in the betting, but MARIA MONTEZ gets the vote. She couldn't cope with hat-trick hero Le King Beau at Lingfield last time, but will find this a lot easier and is preferred to Dark Castle, who ran much better than his finishing position would suggest over a mile at this track on his debut. Casa Bex, Mister Mackenzie and Gabrial's Bounty have claims on last year's placed efforts, but all three are returning from a lay-off and may need the outing.
