In depth

Verdict

TIME TO TINKER (NAP) ran the unbeaten Stellar Magic to a length-and-a-quarter on his second run over obstacles at Wincanton. That was over 2m3f but he had the pace to finish second in an Exeter bumper last season and his stable won one of these at the track on Tuesday. Leylak ran on the Flat in Ireland and has placed in both starts over hurdles since joining Harry Skelton’s yard but Dorking Lad and Torn And Frayed have been proving expensive to follow. Major Robinson won a Thurles bumper last year and could figure if handling this quicker surface.
