In depth

Verdict

The draw could have been kinder to LOUPHOLE but nonetheless he is in good form and he is preferred over the likes of This Ones For Eddy and Littledodayno. The selection has finished second on each of his last two starts, but he did not get the race run to suit last time and if he gets the pace that he needs in this race then he can get his head in front. This Ones For Eddy is another with a wide draw and it could also be said that he didn't get the race run to suit last time. He should go well here, although he will benefit from being dropped a few pounds by the handicapper. Littledodayno is difficult to catch right but he has plenty of ability and the yard are shrewd. If the market speaks in his favour then it could pay to take the hint. What Katie Did is a course and distance winner with a good draw so he could prove best of the others, although he has been a little below-par of late. Louphole has also won over this course and distance and he looks the one to beat.
