In depth

Verdict

Any number of these have claims but PERFECT PERSUASION beat a subsequent winner five lengths at Lingfield in December and gets the speculative vote partnered by Ryan Moore for his comeback. Zman Awal also opened her account at Lingfield and has a shout along with Maria Bella, who scored over a mile here in November. Previous winners Rekdhat, Dutch S and Bold Lass have all come unstuck in handicap company but it's much too soon to write any of them off in what looks a competitive contest.
