Verdict

No winning form to consider but CONSTANZIA has been competing in higher grade handicaps and was beaten only a neck over today’s trip at Chelmsford the last time she raced at this lowly level. Souter Johnnie finished in front of Speed Merchant when third over a mile at Chelmsford on his handicap debut and has been gelded since while Sparkling Diamond finished second over 6f here last time, though is drawn high along with Epsom third Krishmaya. Pitchcombe is another not done any favours by the draw though may finish closer with headgear fitted for his handicap debut.
