Verdict

Sea Change is better judged on his win at Lingfield than his defeat at Goodwood where he seemed ill at ease on the track and raced too far back off a slow pace in a race where Exemplary disappointed. There should be more to come from him and Giants Play who galloped on resolutely to land a course and distance maiden on her return from a short break and that pair may dominate the market. As a result, SILENT ACT may be sent off at an each-way price and Amanda Perrett's gelding can reward support by making the frame. His only disappointing run came on his seasonal reappearance but he has progressed well since and will be suited by the return to this venue. Hendersyde is one to monitor in the market, Exemplary may fare better at this venue whilst Ateeb is unexposed and may improve for the fitting of blinkers.
