In depth

Verdict

Fastrac Boy, Davids Mark and Sweetsformysweet are three against the field in a tight opener and the narrow vote is given to Davids Mark. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest fourth behind Piccolo Diamante looks solid and with the race looking sure to be run to suit he looks a value bet. Fastrac Boy rates the main danger on his latest second behind Spirit Of Coniston. That horse has since franked the form but he is far from consistent and at likely odds he is taken on. Sweetsformysweet is well bred but has not progressed as expected but has a good draw. Dysonic and Sir Loin are others with place claims but are best when allowed to dominate and as they look sure to be taken on for the lead for the winner we return to Davids Mark to small stakes.
