      Verdict

      Nayef Road comes out best at the weights but finished just behind EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS (NAP) in a similar conditions race over track and trip last month. The latter is proving a useful stayer on the Flat and Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge had enough speed to land the odds in a maiden over 1m4f here on only his third outing under this code. Strong Glance was less impressive on his debut on the Flat at Southwell last week but Coltrane is weighted to beat Trinity Girl, though has a bit to find with the selection on these terms.
