      Verdict

GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI showed a big improvement at Lingfield in February and any further progress should see him bang there at the finish. He’s preferred to Raatea, whose best efforts have been over shorter trips so far. Of the newcomers, Conscious is a full brother to a winner and a half-brother to several others, but already gelded, while Royal Mews and Semser are both Siyouni newcomers representing powerful yards. The former cost €350,000 and the latter can include a Group 3 winner among several winning relatives.
