      Verdict

      Genesius ended a long losing run with a victory on soft going at Thirsk but has been raised 5lb. TEQUILAMOCKINGBIRD is preferred back on a winning mark as she was beaten only a head at Wolverhampton last month and an apprentice takes 7lb off her back for this. Sainte Colette won at the latter track before struggling at Newbury while Lednikov landed a double at Southwell at the end of last year and is back on a winning mark. Afta Party won at Windsor last autumn and has raced over hurdles since while Nasim races over this far for the first time.
