Verdict
New Strategy was ridden by an apprentice when scoring by a head at Beverley and will need to improve further to go in again. Commodore's best effort so far came in a lower grade at Sandown while Atlantis Crossing has to race off a much higher mark back on the all-weather having won on the Turf at Lingfield last month. Leicester winner Cape Lion ran poorly last time and Ice Slice saves his best for soft ground. ELIZONA (NAP) has yet to win but drops back down in class for this. George Wood's allowance could give her the edge today and she gets the nod.
