Verdict
Lutine Charlie has a strike-rate of 2-46 on the all-weather and his lone success here was in a seller. Fairy Mist is 1-26 and been beaten off this mark the last twice and Diamond Sam has never won and doesn't appear to be making progress. Purford Green ran a bit better at Lingfield last time but remains a maiden after 16 starts so a process of elimination leads us to DEVILUTION. Derek Shaw's charge is another long-time maiden but was unlucky in-running when tackling 6f here last month and his two later moderate efforts came on Fibresand. Bridge Builder was heavily supported for a 6f handicap here on Monday and led for a long way. His earlier runs had been over further and connections will be looking for compensation.
