Verdict
FUN IN THE SUN is nominated to land the opener with Summer Recluse and Hurricane Coast put forward to fill the placings. With only one win from 30 career starts, the selection doesn't have the sort of record to inspire huge confidence in punters. Third last time out at Bath, the soft ground there would not have been in his favour. His sole victory was achieved at this venue in March. While concerns do exist with regard to his ability in seeing out the mile, this course has been favouring horses coming from off the pace in recent times. Summer Recluse has not won in over two years but posted a good effort last time in this grade while Hurricane Coast, another veteran has shown some promise on his last two starts. It might well have been he was in need of his two starts earlier in the season as they followed a break. Beck has been badly out of form in recent weeks but would have claims if recapturing his form of old.
