Verdict
A poor maiden and the likely contenders include Perlachy, Fairnilee and Virgilia and our vote goes to the last named. An expensively bought daughter of Barathea, the selection will probably be better over further and from a decent draw, there has to be strong claims in a weak race. Perlachy has had many chances. Rated 63, this is the benchmark for the race. A draw of one is not quite so favourable. Fairnilee ran eyecatchingly on debut after making a slow start and is one to watch in the market. Really Naughty has shaped with a degree of promise on two starts whilst Lady Fifer hails from a stable that can have them ready first time up. Not a race to be getting too heavily involved in and Virgilia is put up as the token selection.
