Verdict

Quotica De Poyans was never travelling when pulled up at Newbury last time and it's not certain this much shorter trip will be in his favour. Schindler's Gold lost his way in the summer and return from a break, while Alfie Sherrin continues to be let down by his jumping and Coup Royale hasn't shown a great deal so far this season. Got Attitude also looks one to avoid and there are question marks hanging over Fix The Rib and Safari Journey at present but Fine Parchment can probably be forgiven his run over the National fences at Aintree on heavy ground and REQUIN ran well for a long way before falling on his return to action over 3m at Ascot. It's the latter who gets the nod as he'll strip fitter here and will appreciate the return to 2m4f. Soixante is on a winning mark but weighted to reverse C&D running with Coup Royale last season so could also make his presence felt.
