In depth

Verdict

MY LORD came unstuck taking on older horses last week but won a similar contest to this at Wolverhampton before that. Bill Turner's charge looks the one to beat on today's terms back in his own age group. Fifth In Line has a chance at the weights but has been below par of late, and last month's Lingfield winner Eternal Youth could pose a bigger threat to the selection after running well at Leicester a fortnight ago. It's hard to make a serious case for any of the remainder though the lightly-raced Ezzles may find some improvement.
