      In depth

      Verdict

Charles Le Brun has been in decent form over the minimum trip and looks worth another try over today’s longer distance. But WHISTLING SANDS has the most scope of these having finished third at Chelmsford on last month’s handicap debut and Robyn Brisland’s charge gets the vote to open his account with further progress on the cards. Egotistic won a claimer early in the year and Krazy Paving won a classified race back in February while Jaganory scored over 5f at Bath in September.
