In depth

Verdict

ALUTIQ kept good company last year and a fifth in the Lowther at York is the best piece of form on offer. Favoured by today's weights, she may well be up to making a winning return. Golden Amber ended last year with a win at Navan and has since joined Dean Ivory. She has claims along with Scruffy Tramp, a decent sixth in a Class 2 sprint at Wolverhampton last month. Captain Myles has more scope than dual 5f winner Oriental Relation while Ticking Katie drops back in trip for her return to action after placed efforts in handicaps over 7f.
