Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Plenty in with a chance here and a good run from Dutch Supreme earlier on the card would boost the claims of Curzon Line as the Godolphin charge finished ahead of the former when runner-up at Wolverhampton. California English was third here to a Hannon-trained colt last time and the latter runs Dynamic Duo today, while Johnno made a promising reappearance and Lingfield winner Basseterre can be excused his latest poor effort on soft ground at Windsor. Hamis Al Bin won easily at Wolverhampton in March but has been raised 9lb for his trouble so the tentative vote goes to MAIN LINE, who scored at the same track on his debut and can go on to better things here for a yard in fine form.
