In depth

Verdict

Shining Romeo made a winning start over hurdles with a victory at Huntingdon last month where Free One was well beaten. He should go well again but is penalised for that success and RUWASI can take advantage. Gary Moore’s charge was runner-up over hurdles at Plumpton before a recent spin back on the Flat and is also preferred to the returning Ok Corral. The latter hasn’t raced since 2015 when winning a bumper on soft ground here and makes his hurdling bow today while Zephyros didn’t fare to badly on his first start over timber when third at Plumpton.
