In depth

Verdict

Jellystone will likely be raised by more than today’s 6lb penalty in the future given the ease of his win at Yarmouth last week. But he faces a tougher task against today’s unexposed opposition including COLONIZE. The Gosden colt improved for the step up to 1m2f when scoring at Chelmsford and further progress looks assured now handicapping. Both Angel On High and Kommodity Kid won at Lingfield earlier in the year with the former coming out best in this on collateral form though both are preferred to Finely Tuned and Caledonian Crusade.
