In depth

Verdict

Midnight Rider is creeping up the weights despite not winning and is up another 3lb for a head defeat at Warwick last time. INTRANSIGENT makes more appeal as he had a previous winner behind when runner-up to Saloomy here last week and can go one better on this occasion. Ghost Train ran a shocker at Epsom last time but was unlucky not to have scored on the Polytrack before that while this is tougher than the C&D handicap won by Flashbang last month. Noverre To Go could prove dangerous back on the Polytrack and looks best of the rest.
