        Verdict

        SOAR ABOVE had little trouble landing a hat-trick of course wins with last month’s victory over the trip. He’s upped a further 5lb but doubts surround his main rivals and it could pay to stick with Paul D’Arcy’s charge in his current form. Madrinho ran well in an amateurs’ race here last week while Treacherous has placed over 7f at the track recently and Global Melody’s earlier win came at Southwell. Anonymous John and Little Palaver are not badly treated on past winning form and Miracle Works went close the last time he raced over track and trip.
