Verdict
MAY SONIC was last seen finishing runner-up in a Group 3 sprint in Ireland in October but made all to win this on last year’s seasonal reappearance. Charlie Hills’ charge should have the measure of today’s rivals who both step up in class. Papa Stour drops back down in trip after scoring over 7f here while Mohareb was successful at Southwell last month but has been beaten off today’s higher mark on both subsequent occasions.
