In depth

Verdict

Majaalis was last seen scoring at Yarmouth in September last year and makes his all-weather debut. Melodic Charm has performed at a higher level and though both victories have been on Tapeta she's run well here in the past. BENNY AND THE JETS won here and at Wolverhampton during the summer and has raced in better company with a close second in a Class 2 handicap here earlier this month probably good enough to take this. Count Otto scored over the course and distance in February and is only 1lb higher but the main threat may come from Jonah Jones, who makes his debut on the surface after running very well in Class 2 handicaps on Turf.
