Verdict
Champagne Harry has shown a liking for the larger obstacles and can land this contest from Positive Profile and Trust Friend. This six-year-old, trained by the in form Nigel Twiston-Davies chased home the well regarded Willie John Daly at Exeter last time. His jumping was a bit dodgy on occasions but he will improve for the experience and looks the one to beat here. Northern raider Positive Profile is a decent long distance hurdler and will know doubt have been well schooled by his competent handler and should be capable of getting into the places. Trust Fund is making his debut under rules but is a winning pointer from a very capable yard so should be watched closely in the betting. Best of the others could be Euro Bleu, but Champagne Harry has a fitness edge on most of these and is a confident choice.
