      Verdict

A poor opener where MELLOW MIXTURE is fancied to just get the better of Petrovsky. Richard Hannon's colt has earned a mark of 72 after three maiden outings at around this trip. He handles the surface well, though this is his first try right-handed, but he has got a decent draw and can put his experience to good use tonight. Petrovsky is a potential improver after just two runs so far. The Mark Johnston-trained colt also goes clockwise for the first time here and is drawn pretty well, and we have plenty of respect for his chance. The Age Of Anxiety made a pleasing Dundalk debut last month and should benefit from that outing here, and a market check is advised for a guide to his chances. Haljaferia needs to improve but there is every possibility of that and the step up in trip is a plus, while Cool Hand Jake will perhaps have to wait for other days. Mellow Mixture is the pick here.
