        Verdict

        Marajaa bids for a hat-trick after following up a win at this track with a victory at Lingfield last time. Another bold bid looks on the cards but he may find the weight concession to RED SOMERSET beyond him. The latter won a similar event over C&D in August and looks to have leading claims on today's terms, despite returning from an absence. Amethyst Dawn is dropped in class on only her second start for new connections and Slam has been hurdling without success since last seen on the Flat in 2009. Spinning Ridge could prove best of the remainder who look up against it on today's terms.
